Lord, I thank you that your love is great.
May this verse, enrich, inspire and encourage you on November 1, 2009, my Friend.
Ps 107:43 Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the LORD.
The words that are translated ‘great love’ in the English are actually one word in the Hebrew. The Hebrew Lexicon tells us that ‘great love’ describes a relationship that has no formal agreement, but it is treated by the one doing the loving as an agreement.
We extend thanks to God that he reaches out to everyone in the same way. All of us are welcome in God’s family.
This verse also tells us that we are not just takers of God’s blessings. We are instructed to plan ahead so that we can make best use of what we have been given.
My friends, God’s great love will not be manifested in our lives if we are not willing to creatively and compassionately share it with those who are looking for it.
Until tomorrow,
Pastor Terry
