2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We have just concluded looking at the seven short prayers that make up what we call the Lord's Prayer. tomorrow morning we will begin a study of seven illustrations of the value of the the Bible. 

It is an unfortunate reality that not all Christians believe that the Bible is in essence true. There are definately some verses that seem to not make any sense, i.e. Ephesians 6:5 Slaves obey your masters. Paul is not condoning slavery , but telling those who are slaves that they can be a good example of the love of Christ by how they serve their masters.
