Debating over what to do for the 4th of July this year? Wonder no more. Join other compassionate and fun people at Green Restaurant in Tempe for a Bike 'n BBQ Festival!

Come check out the great sounds of musical bands Slack Babbath, Hug of War, The Black River Bandit and more. While rocking out to the tunes enjoy your choice of vegan hot dogs, hamburgers, brats or BBQ tofu along with homemade potato salad, roasted garlic corn cobblet and baked beans. Sip on your organic soda while participating in a raffle. Enjoy a festive red, white and blue cake during the fixed gear bike demo.

For roughly ten dollars you can eat, drink and be merry anytime between 2 and 9 p.m. If you’ve been thinking about adding a new four-legged member to your family, there will be animal adoptions as well. Proceeds of this event go to Circle L Ranch Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. The ranch’s director, Deborah Wilson MD explains:

"Circle L Ranch rescues horses, dogs, goats, sheep, cattle, and chickens who would otherwise have been euthanized or slaughtered for meat. It is our mission to find loving homes for adoptable animals and provide permanent, peaceful residence for the un-adoptable. It is our hope that our existence will not only benefit the animals whose lives we save, but will raise the consciousness of everyone who visits our ranch regarding the miserable, tragic lives and deaths of so many horses, dogs, and farm animals in this country and the world.”

So come on out and enjoy the great food, music and events while supporting Arizona’s animals in need. See you there.
