Almost daily we see Katie and Suri in stunning attire going out to eat in whatever town they are in, walking the streets of NY, or hanging out in LA.
No doubt that these two are photogenic and people like to look at them and maybe even imagine that they too could join the life of the rich and famous.
Some in our society enjoy peeking in on celebrity lifestyles and there is nothing inherently wrong with that. It provides a certain distraction from the grind of day to day exhistence. Celebrities lives, interests, and struggles can sometimes provide worthwhile information and solutions that their fans can learn from.
However, I wonder at times what this constant attention does to an almost three-year-old's perspective of the world. Suri's siblings Isabella, 15 and Conner, 13 ,adopted when Cruise was married to Nicole Kidman, do not seem to be over exposed by media attention.
That may suggest that it is possible to maintain a private life for children of celebrites and may even be desireable.
