While the country celebrates the 58th annual National Day of Prayer in various private and public ways today, those so inclined in the city of angels can hook up at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m.

Angelenos up early can catch the Webcast of the National Observance in Washington D.C., organized by the NDP Task Force, through several online venus. (6 a.m. - 9 a.m. Pacific)

However, the night time might be the right time for "industry types" and followers. The Beacon, Hollywood Prayer Network, Arts & Entertainment Ministries and Shepherd of the Hills Church are partnering with several other L.A. Christians ministries and churches to observe the government sanctioned day.

The theme is "Prayer . . . America's Hope" and organizers say that entertainment industry professionals and churches across Los Angeles will gather "to praise God, worship Him
and pray for our city, our nation, our industry and our churches."

Bel Air Presbyterian Church is located at 16221 Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles. The live L.A. event will also be available online through the National Day of Prayer Website.

Sponsoring the event ar Arts & Entertainment Ministries, The Beacon, Bel Air Presbyterian Church, Hollywood Prayer Network, and Westside Shepherd of the Hills.
