Tara wants you to bring her home! More pics below.

Personality is key when choosing the right cat to adopt. Some people look for an active cat, some want a quieter, shy one, and still other just want a cat who loves them and cuddles all the time.

Today's Amazing Adoptable is a mix of all three! She is currently being cared for by Animal Aid, a non-profit, no-kill shelter.

Featured Cat for Adoption: Tara the Bobcat

Tara is a uniquely beautiful, golden bobcat who was born with a stubby little tail. It's cute, and good for pet owners -- no thwapping anything over accidentally for her!

She is very sweet and loving to humans, but not so much with other animals. She's got a strong personality and will chase and run them around into a corner... but she loves people. Tara loves to climb on shoulders and "give kisses" and, if you lie down, she'll walk right on to your chest and knead away, happy as can be.

Tara is a little shy with new people at first, but soon enough she finds she can't stop herself from coming right up to meet you and demand attention and pettings. She likes to be whereever you are, and would make a wonderful companion for someone.

You can meet Tara at the PetSmart on Sunrise Blvd. where she is available for adoption.
