I wish this was a really bad joke but unfortunately it's not. Former Oilers and Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed.
I'm stunned.
I'm shocked.
The location of the incident, 2nd Ave. S. and Lea Ave., is near-southeast downtown Nashville. I'm sure more details will be forthcoming.
Update 4:28 pm: Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network is reporting that the incident occurred inside a condominium near the reported location.
