Now that things have slowed down a bit and we've had a chance to catch our collective breath during this whirlwind of free agency, I thought it would be a good idea to see what the division rivals are up to.

You know how the saying goes, right?

Something about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.

We won't spend a lot of time on the Texans since that's all we've discussed over the past few days, but for the visitors the major moves have been the signing of DE Antonio Smith (Arizona) and backup QB Dan Orlovsky (Detroit).

Other news of note for the Texans has been the re-signing of backup OL Chris White, S Eugene Wilson, and TE Joel Dreessen.

And of course, Dunta Robinson was franchised.

WR David Anderson received an offer sheet from the Broncos which will need to be matched by the Texans by this weekend otherwise they will lose him.

The rest of the Texans RFAs have all been tendered and are not likely going anywhere.

The Texans have a number of UFAs that are shopping their services.  C.C. Brown was reported to be talking to the Giants according to a report late today.

Here's a link to the Texans filter on NFL.com's free agent tracker if you want to check on the status of Texans players coming and going.

The Colts have been fairly quiet, mainly because of salary cap spending limits.  The big news out of Indy has been the release of Marvin Harrison.  It will be really odd watching the Colts and not seeing Marvin out there.

The Colts lost DT Darrell Reid to Denver but managed to re-sign C Jeff Saturday prior to the start of free agency.

Other familiar names on the Colts who are now exploring unrestricted free agency include RB Dominic Rhodes, LBs Freddy Keiaho and Tyjuan Hagler, and CB Keiwan Ratliff.

Here's the Colts complete list from the tracker.

The Titans were in the news primarily due to the loss of DT Albert Haynesworth.  I could hear Matt Schaub's happy dance all the way down here in southeast Harris when that happened.

The Titans also lost WR Brandon Jones to the 49ers and DB Eric King to Detroit.  They compensated for Jones' loss by signing WR Nate Washington from the Steelers today.  The Titans also signed DT Jovan Haye from Tampa Bay.

The Titans re-signed QB Kerry Collins and franchised TE Bo Scaife.  DB and special teams standout Chris Carr remains a significant UFA.

You can read the Titans free agent tracker here.

The Jaguars released Fred Taylor who was quickly scooped up by New England.

DE Paul Spicer, DB Drayton Florence, and WR Jerry Porter were all released.

The Jags signed S Sean Considine (Eagles), and re-signed a couple of their own players, CB Scott Starks and C Brad Meester.

Notable UFAs include WR Reggie Williams, the Jags first round pick (9th overall) in 2004 who was arrested recently, and OT Khalif Barnes, the Jags second round pick from 2005.

Here's the Jags free agent tracker.
