Paul Kuharsky is reporting that David Gibbs "has a deal" to become the Texans new secondary coach and that details will be finalized next week.

I guess that means they have 'agreed in principle' to enter into a contract.

Based on Kubiak's comments following Gibbs' interview on Monday and Tuesday, it was safe to say that Gibbs had an offer in hand when he went back to Kansas City to discuss the new opportunity with his family.

Again, this is not a surprise based on the upheaval at Kansas City, David's relationship with a certain offensive line guru, and Kubiak's past relationship with the younger Gibbs.
