Interesting tidbits I've found in my perusing include a good (long and detailed) update on the GMO situation by Bonnie Azab Powell, writing on one of my favorite blogs, The Ethicurian. I share Powell's frustration that the public just doesn't seem to be getting what a potential danger GMO is, and how much GMO (which have never been tested in humans except for a couple studies in Europe that the industry stopped because the results were so alarming) most Americans are eating.
Tara Parker-Pope wrote an interesting piece in the New York Times this week on fat intake and brain health. It's not good news for those enamored with chili cheese fries.
