Most Americans agree that the state of the US economy and its national security is an unqualified disaster. With the selection of a Vice Presidential running mate that even the most conservative of political pundits agree is breathtakingly unprepared for the office, the important of the full release of John McCain’s medical records is greater than ever.

Here’s how McCain has released his medical records thus far: a select group of reporters was allowed a very limited period of time to review the many volumes of his records. Could they have pens? Paper?
