Shall we file Burger King's "Whopper Virgins" video under worst PR move by a fast food company? Most insulting condescension to non-Western cultures and actual public health scientists?

Burger King seems to have spent a fortune to go to the ends of the earth (places where they could find people who don't know what a hamburger is) and ask unsuspecting natives whether they preferred a Whopper to a Big Mac in a taste test.  The video suggests great care was taken to make the test scientifically sound. The art director and marketer/MC speak as if they were bringing plumbing and fresh water to poor deprived souls - are you inspired yet? The results of the "study" were announced Monday.  One guess as to how this brilliant endeavor came out?

You guessed it, the Whopper won.

Needless to say, the campaign has ignited a flame broiled controversy in the media.

Food & Drink Examiner Chef Eric Burkett has somthing to say about Whopper Virgins.
