Now is the time to consider taking a family vacation in Las Vegas.   Not often thought of as a family destination, Las Vegas has much to offer those looking for a fun family vacation spot.   Las Vegas hotels are clamoring for your business and offering family package deals to get you in.

The Signature Suites at MGM Grand Las Vegas just launched their 'Summer Splash' family deal which runs through September 3, 2009.    Family-sized suites range from approximately $105 - $169 a night during the summer, with the best rates found from Sunday - Thursday travel in June or August.    In close proximity to Las Vegas powerhouse MGM Grand, these are not your run-of-the-mill hotel rooms!   The rooms at the Signature at MGM Grand are quite luxurious.   The smallest rooms are a generous 550 square feet, and feature Jacuzzi whirlpool tubs in every room.   Most suites come with private balconies, and views of the strip.   Kids can enjoy free meals at the poolside grill.  This package is available for booking by calling their reservation center at 1-800-727-0007 and using the coupon code SUM016 by May 18, 2009.

The Residence Inn Las Vegas has a "Family Night in Vegas" deal from $164 a night, which includes a large pizza, drinks and in-room movie.  The Orleans is promoting a "Family Fun Package" through September 3, 2009.  This 3-night package starts at $219, which includes a $100 resort credit.   The Orleans family package is only available for stays on Sunday - Thursday nights and you must use coupon code SUMMER9 at the time of booking.   Far from the strip, the MonteLago Village Resort on Lake Las Vegas has a family package from $184 a night which includes a one-hour electric boat rental.
