Marriott to Build New Resort on Maui

Friday, October 17th, 2008
KIHEI, Maui: In the Good News category, The Maui News is reporting that the Aston Maui Lu is being sold to Marriot Ownership Resorts Inc., who intends to raze the current buildings and replace them with a 388-unit timeshare resort. (read more here)

Disney shares plans for Hawaii resort with Honolulu Mayor

Disney Vacations Clubs, whose nine existing resorts are in Florida and South Carolina, is opening property in Hawaii in 2011. (read more here)
