Whether you want to see the Liberty Bell, the Welcome America Parade, a free Sheryl Crow concert or spectacular fireworks, if you live in South Philly, SEPTA provides various convenient options for getting to the 4th of July festivities.

If you are taking the Broad Street Subway, transfer to the #33 bus in Center City to get you to Old City. You can transfer to the #48 bus in Center City to get to the Parkway area.

If you live east of Broad Street, try the 47M bus to get to Old City and the #7 bus to get to the Parkway area. If you live west of Broad Street, the #17 bus will take you to Old City. You can use the same bus to get to the Parkway but you will need to get off in Center City and transfer to the #33.

According to their website, SEPTA will be following a Sunday schedule for city transit on the 4th.
