Haunted house based on stories like Poe's The Black Cat

Brat Productions, Philly’s avant-garde theater company, has transformed a warehouse at 38 Jackson Street in South Philly into a unique rendition of a Halloween haunted house based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe. The attraction, entitled Haunted Poe, features an “immersive, multiple-sensory experience,” according to Brat’s website.

Attendees move from room to room and experience the performances as they make their way through the haunted house. The attractions will feature themes based on Poe’s work such as The Black Cat and The Raven.

Tickets cost up to $25 and the performance lasts about 40 to 50 minutes. The performances began October 1st and will continue through November 1st.
