In an interview with the ABC network affiliate in Baltimore (via ESPN), Titans quarterback Vince Young’s frustration about being benched has finally emerged.

Young told WMAR-TV that he is eager to return to the field with his teammates, but indicated that if the Titans aren’t as eager, he needs to move on.
I definitely want to get back out there playing ball and picking up where I left off, winning games and having a good time with my teammates and with the fans. At the same time, if them guys don't want me to be in there, it's time for me to make a career change for myself. Because the fact is I'm ready to play ball. If they're not ready for me to play ball, then somebody is.
It’s unclear what he means by ‘career change’ but I’m guessing he doesn’t literally mean that he wants to change careers and start working a 9-5 at an office somewhere.
Regardless, he still doesn’t seem to realize that the reason he isn’t starting has nothing to do with whether his teammates want him out there, but it has everything to do with his attitude – which clearly isn’t getting any better if he’s thisclose to seeking out another team to play for. By stating that he’s willing to go to another team he’s not exactly assuring his Titans teammates that he’s committed to them or their team.
Titans fans and players alike would love nothing more than to see a confident, mature, team-oriented Vince Young out on the football field, but he seems to still have a long way to go before he’s truly capable of leading a NFL team on the field and in the locker room.
