Any girl who tells you she loves football because it’s complex and violent is a liar. She likes it because there are 22 well-conditioned men in tight pants on the field. All at once.

So in order to honor these ladies (and even the ones who can recognize a hold when it happens) my girlfriends and I have come up with a list of the best-looking guys in pads.

I’m not going to tell you this was a difficult decision or that there’s so much “talent” the decision was tough or that we didn’t know where to start. This was easy. Probably the easiest thing I’ve ever done outside of tying my shoes.
Here are our choices in reverse order:
10. Terrell Owens (Dallas Cowboys) -- Great teeth.
9. Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys) -- If he can put up with Jessica Simpson, he can handle me.
8. Kyle Boller (Baltimore Ravens) -- You are PRETTY!
7. Reggie Bush (New Orleans Saints) -- I just want his diamond earrings.
6. Brett Favre (NY Jets) -- Perma-five-o’clock shadow.
5. Champ Bailey (Denver Broncos) -- His name is Champ.
4. Tom Brady (New England Patriots) -- Duh.
3. Jason Taylor (Washington Redskins) -- He can cut a rug.
2. David Carr (NY Giants) -- The dark, brooding type.
1. Hunter Hillenmeyer (Chicago Bears) -- I wish I grew up next to this boy next door
Honorable mention: John Lynch, Brady Quinn, Keith Bulluck, Ronde & Tiki Barber, Jay Cutler
