Unconstitutional: Obama Seizes Private Businesses (Update)

Looking like something out of a Venezuelan newspaper, Barak Hussein Obama is unconstitutionally seizing businesses all over the Nation as if he were Hugo Chavez .

In Melbourne Florida, Dodge-Isuzu Dealership owner George Joseph has lost his Automobile franchise. Sunshine Dodge, his dealership, has been a family business for 35 years, one in which he is a second generation manager. He has had to let his 50 Employees know that this successful dealership has been summarily ripped from him, and as of June 9th he will no longer be a Dodge dealer. Let’s stress here that Mr. Joseph will get absolutely no compensation. He will have to sell his inventory without the benefit of factory incentives, an inventory of over a million dollars. He has, at the request of Chrysler, remodeled his dealership incurring a multimillion dollar debt, which he will also not be compensated for. He has a service Department, which will no longer be able to do Warranty service work, and he can’t sell all those new cars as new. Then there is the 300,000 dollar inventory in the parts department that he is additionally saddled with. In a brief phone call, Sunshine Dodge did confirm that they are losing the dealership.

This is no joke or internet prank folks.

It is happening in America, and is no different than Hugo Chaves seizing American owned Oil Platforms operating in the waters off Venezuela.

In a Canada Free Press article today, another Dealership in Long Island New York is facing the exact same seizure. Jim Anderer’s Chrysler dealership has been stolen from him. No sound explanation is given; the government is simply stealing his dealership.

This is not an issue isolated on the East coast, here locally in Portland; Timberline Dodge is being forced to sell of its inventory as the Government once again, has stolen their dealership franchise. Their website states: “What can you do to stop a government closure of a privately owned business?” indeed, what can you do?

Think of this for a moment, your private dentist, or doctor, has been treating you for way ten years, along comes that warm fuzzy sounding “”Health Insurance for everyone”, where the Government comes into your dentist’s office, or your Doctor, and tells them, you must now practice out of this facility under this agency or you must stop practicing medicine/Dentistry, thereby forcing the closure of their private business.

Its coming folks.

The Federal Government is acting in a blatantly unconstitutional manner, and no one seems to be talking about it. The silence in the mainstream Media is nothing short of thundering. The Government is seizing private businesses, and this is just the start.

Is this the hope and change you voted for? Government seizing private business? This is not hope. It’s the wanton destruction of the very thing that makes us a free people, the Constitution of the United States. It is change however…. And it is looking like those states who are even now asserting their 10th Amendment rights are right on the money. “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The Federal Government has zero authority to do what it is doing. None whatsoever.

If the Fed and Obama get away with this…. what’s next?

Any darned thing it wants.

Be afraid, this is the very tyranny the people who created the United States of America and freed the colonies from British rule feared for us. This is no joke. The seriousness of what is happening is impossible to understate. The Colonial war started because of tyranny far far smaller than this.... the road to the revolutionary war was paved with indiscretions LESS than what the Obama Administration is doing today.

 UPDATE: As an astute follower of the constitution has pointed out, Obama's actions have also violated the 5th Amendment: "...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.". These dealerships are not being compensated in the least.
