Yes, the Seattle farmers markets are open 4th of July weekend, so plan to get berries for shortcake, plenty of veggies for salad, and meats to BBQ. Farm bouquets are all featuring the colors of our flag. Celebrate the holiday with fabulous, fresh, American farm food!

Blueberries; first of season organic berries out of Tonasket – brought to market by Billy’s
Apricots; Goldbar and Tomcots
Raspberries; Tulameen and Cascade Dawn
Black Raspberries; organic, deep blue, almost black, small and dry, with intense flavor from Homestead farms in Quincy
Cherries; Bings, Rainiers, Chelans, Index
Sour Pie Cherries – limited quantities
Rainbow Carrots – multi colored new baby carrots – bunched and beautiful from From Stoney Plains Organic Farm

4pm-5pm at Madrona Market, Chef demonstration with Lesa Sullivan

Saturday markets

10am-12pm at U-District Market, Ask the Chef with Cynthia Nims, cookbook author and food writer

10am-4pm, The Farmers Market at the Fremont Sunday Market is located in the parking lot in front of the Burke Building, along N. 34th Street, and just east of the Theo Chocolate Factory. With Fremont's sister farmers market in Ballard bursting its belt, we're bringing the farmers component back this season by popular demand. The Farmers Market at Fremont Sunday Market is open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., June through October.

  • West Seattle, California Ave SW and SW Alaska, 10am - 2pm, Open year around
  • Summer Sundays at Pike Place Market, June 7 - September 27. Pike Place is closed to vehicular traffic
