This is the first in a multi-part series examining the effects of the health care reform plan on various individuals and aspects of  American culture.

Because Washington politicians have a tendency to say one thing and do another, this series will attempt to determine the truth regarding HR 3200.

We will search out the various “fact-checker” reports. We will look at vague language that leaves various hot-button issues to the discretion of Washington bureaucrats. And we will see how similar programs work in other countries.

But more importantly, we will examine the effects this reform will have on you. Whether you're a pregnant mother or a wounded veteran, elderly or raising a family, we will sort out fact from fiction and look at the effects on the individual, because our country was founded on the principle of individual liberties.
