Here are New Orleans literary events (book signings, writers' groups meetings, poetry readings, book sales, book discussions) for November 1 through November 7, including information on the Tom Dent Literary Festival which will be held at the main branch of the New Orleans Public Library, November 5-7.
Sunday, November 1

They will be joined by Clifton Casteel, author of the fictional work, A Lady’s Heart and Soul: My Life as a Colored-Negro-African-American.
