This marina and boatyard has been owned and managed by the Giovannoni family since 1957. It is a full service marina, with rental boat slips, haul-out facilities for professional work and DIYers, a dry storage yard, a chandlery, and yacht sales. The dry storage yard is the largest in Northern California, presently accommodating more than 220 boats.
The haul-out facility has 5 rails and a ramp, with a state-of-the-art Brownell 35 ton hydraulic trailer. The trailer’s patented design enables it to be custom fit to a wide range of hull configurations. The rail system has a capacity for catamarans up to 71 ft in length, attracting multi-hull yachts from all over the world. An elevator lift can handle boats up to 55 ft.
Haul out rates at the Napa Valley Marina are $7/ft for boats up to 39’, and $8/ft for boats 40’ and up. Dry storage is $4/ft per month for monohulls, and $5.50/ft for multihulls.
The Napa Valley Marina is located on the West side of the Napa River, about 700 yards south of Marker 14 (38-13’13” N, 122-18’41” W). One of the side benefits of hauling out your boat at the Napa Valley Marina is its proximity to some 300 wineries, a dozen spas, and world class restaurants.
Meanwhile, if your boat has no need for a boatyard at the moment, you might check out my articles on places to visit in your boat: beaches, harbors, lunches, brunches, and a ballgame.
