Grab your canine companion and head on out Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the 2nd annual Highland Park Village Dog Walk. Cole Haan, Madison, Robert Talbott and Kiehl’s stores will offer raffles and other special pet-friendly promotions, and Haynsworth Photography will be offering seasonal pet photos.
If you don't have a dog to bring along, come on out anyway and support the local rescue groups, shelters and other animal welfare organizations on hand. Participants include Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas, Legacy Boxer Rescue, Weimaraner Rescue of North Texas, DFW Labrador Retriever Rescue Club, DFW Pug Rescue, Border Collie Rescue Texas, Richardson Humane Society, Operation Kindness, Dallas Animal Services, Metroplex Mutts, The Nosey Dog, Paws Cause, and more.
For more info: Gemma is a 1-year old terrier found wandering the streets on 9/11/09. She needs a home quickly before her time is up. Visit Dallas Animal Services website for more.
