Have a good friend take some "before" shots of you.

Why is it that looking at other people’s weight loss success photos is such a motivator? Maybe it’s because we picture ourselves in their shoes or perhaps we think “If she can do it, I can too!”. Whatever the reason, seeing weight loss transformations totally encourages me. So I thought I would save you the time and show a little weight loss success link-love this morning.

The evidence of their transformations isn’t only visible in their waistlines, but also in their faces! The facial transformations are huge as well. You can tell they are exuding confidence and happiness now that they have reached their fitness goals. Their posture seems better and there are several more smiles.

Ready for Some Before and After Shots of Your Own???
Weight loss before and after photos of your own can be a great motivator as well. Sometimes we cannot tell how far we have progressed. But seeing pictures of yourself somehow makes it easier. Take a picture of yourself in a swimsuit, or if you’re not that comfortable, a t-shirt and shorts. Use this outfit and subsequent photos just like you use the scale, to occasionally monitor your progress. You will see how your own before and after photos can be a great indicator of your hard work and an awesome motivator when you need an extra push.
