Mel Gibson before his anti Semitism.

In 1939, Daniel loses Helen in a car accident, Helen is in a coma, and doctors doubt she'll ever get out. Daniel agrees to be frozen alive in his scientist friend Harry's  cryogenics experiment in the hopes that when he's thawed, Helen will be recovered. Somehow it is 50 years later, and two kids revive Daniel, who is rapidly aging to what he should be by now and he needs to find Harry and Helen.

Forever Young is in many ways like Always, but not so sappy. Sure, Daniel (played by Mel Gibson) loses his woman. Sure, he decides to do some crazy experiment so he can be with her eventually. But its got alot of action coupled with 2 crazy kids, one whom is a young Elijah Wood. And don't be fooled. Jamie Lee Curtis is not really the love interest. Her character wants it, but she knows that Daniel's love is for one woman whom he lost a long time ago.

Written by JJ Abrams of Lost and the reboot of Star Trek fame, Forever Young is not a chick flick. Its a family movie, so watch it with people you are close with.
