Over the last year I have done my best to share both the facts and realities of whatever business news was occurring here in the United States as well as abroad.
I covered many topics and had many spirited discussions with readers. With one of the worst economic periods in decades occurring in this last year, to say that my timing was serendipitous would be an understatement!
While I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride, my stop has approached, and it is time for me to depart the Examiner.com train.
I cannot leave before acknowledging my channel manager, and friend: Darrell Proctor. Darrell has been supportive ----ALWAYS! He has been my go-to-guy, continuously offering great advice, and positive encouragement. I will miss working with him more than I can properly express in words. Darrell, you are the best, and I thank you for everything!
To my readers, I thank you for staying tuned in. Though we often disagreed, I truly valued the exchange of ideas.
As I depart, small business has never been more under siege here in the United States. It is crystal clear that both sides of Pennsylvania Avenue loathe small business. While I will miss covering the latest developments, I hope that you find ways to support small businesses everywhere as they create nearly every new job in America and they really are the engine that powers America!
Lastly, while we are enduring truly horrific economic times, keep the faith. America has always found a way to survive and thrive, even when our leaders fail us.
