This guy would be better than we currently have!

Remember when Congress insisted that executives from the domestic auto manufacturers, and Wall Street executives slash their pay and perks? I do, and I wholeheartedly supported that action.

Apparently though what is good for the goose is not good for the gander.

It was revealed that despite failing to properly oversee Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, as well as a myriad of pork barrel spending projects, congress is giving themselves a pay raise.  Yes Virginia, you read this correctly. At a time when unemployment is rising, the stock market is tumbling, consumer confidence is sinking, and citizens have less confidence than ever in their elected officials, Democrats and Republicans are giving themselves a salary increase.

Obviously this is not “merit” based because if it was, frankly, their pay would be cut!

As many of you struggle to find ways to buy holiday gifts for your children, take comfort in knowing that your elected representatives are still very Fat, Dumb and Happy.

People often say that congress should be run like a business. The simple truth is that it is ---- a very poorly run business!

Term limits anyone?
