Look to your left; look to your right; and you will see doom and gloom all around you, or, so it would seem.
Along comes a guy like Guy Kawasaki who reminds us that the United States of America is still the land of plenty, offers endless possibilities, and is fertile ground for those with a dream and the drive to work hard and succeed.
I interviewed Guy on October 16 in this column and there was no doubt as to the level of his passion for business, as well as the commitment that he could empower others to accomplish their dreams as well. Today’s article in USA Today takes this observation to a whole new level.
How can you possibly argue with a man who is says; entrepreneurs shouldn't even fear the financial crisis now. "It doesn't matter whether the Dow is 5,000 or 50,000," Kawasaki says. "If you're an entrepreneur, there is no bad time to start a company."
Imagine if we had people like Mr. Kawasaki serving in a significant position in Washington! Then again, would the prevalent media allow us to hear this much positive talk and to experience endless rays of hope?
