Together, let's hold the world in prayer.

Every year, Silent Unity sponsors a World Day of Prayer on the second Thursday of September.  Silent Unity is the worldwide Ministry of Prayer that is affliated with Unity Churches.  It is a time to focus on prayers for the world.  This year's theme is "Reach In, Reach Out, We Can Change the World".  This year's theme reflects the importance of going within for guidance and then reaching out to help others.  Reverend Nancy Worth will be speaking on this theme Sunday, August 16 at Unity North Atlanta

Unity North will hold a 24-hour prayer vigil in observance of the World Day of Prayer.  The Atlanta community is welcome to come to the opening ceremony at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, September 9 in the main sanctuary.  This Interfaith Candle Lighting Service will set the tone for the beautiful prayer experience that awaits in the beautifully transformed Holy Grounds Cafe.  The prayer vigil will continue until 8:30 pm on Thursday, September 10 and end with a closing ceremony.

Come experience prayer in a uniquely beautiful way.  Come any time during the 24-hour vigil and be blessed.

Silent Unity is always available for prayer at 1 800 NOW-PRAY.  They will also accept the names of people for whom you'd like prayer at www.silentunity.org.  Prayer has been continuous at Silent Unity for more than 100 years.
