Impact photography light tent kit
Impact Light Tent kit ($99)

For product photography (eBay, home stores, catalog shots and start ups where you're shooting product yourself), having a light tent is invaluable. It's an ideal way to get products lit the way you need for Web display and producing photos that you can manipulate. But a complete kit can cost you $100 and up. If you don't want to spend that much money, why not make your own?

Digital Photography School just posted this tutorial to build one, as submitted by one of their readers.

EyeFetch has this DIY walkthrough on their Web site.

And Gordon Coale has this visual walkthrough on his Flickr site.

Do you have other techniques you've used?
