Cooliris photo browser, firefox addon
The Cooliris photo browser

Do you use Firefox? Are you looking for a photo of Obama and McCain from the debates? Or do you want video of Palin or Biden? Are you trying to find a photo that was sent to your Gmail account months ago? These add-ons to Firefox will enhance your photo experience in your Firefox browser and add valuable functionality.

Xoopit - If you're using Gmail, then you should use Xoobit. This extension adds a tool bar along the top of your Gmail inbox that lets you search photos, videos and files that have come to you via email. I've been using it for around a day now, and it is invaluable for not only find photos I've sent and recieved, as well as other files like contracts and PDFs.

Cooliris - Formerly known as PicLens, Cooliris lets you browse photos in a visually stunning, distraction free format. You're able to search the internet for photos only that are displayed on a 3-D wall with a blackground. There is very little text to get in the way of finding photos you want and you can search Google, Flickr, Smugmug and others. Videos also come up in searches and its one of the ways I get a quick overview of the news in the morning now.

Nachofoto - Want to bookmark photos instead of pages? By Fotomarking with the Nachofoto plugin you can do exactly that. Anytime you find a photo you want to go back to, you can right click on it and Fotomark it for future reference. The Nachofoto Web site also has search capabilities, so this plug-in is just scratching the surface.
