Most skiers will tell you that fear is the greatest enemy of a good day at the slopes. In fact, fear is worse that poor snow conditions. It can leave you anxious and paralyzed. This type of anxiety can drain you energy, and make you exhausted by the end of the day. In my book, Winter Fitness: Mastering Life Through Love of the Slopes, I discussed how certian fitness programs can give you the confidence you need on the slopes. I just noticed that my good friend Steve Hultquist, who is now the Denver Personal Development Examiner, now how as a great article on the subject. It's definitely worth a read!
