Given the steep surcharge on flying with ski equipment, many people are seeking alternatives. Some are pre-shipping their skis to their hotels. Others are renting equipment. Colorado locals are usually not big on renting. However, demoing is a favorite activity. Now, Christy Sports is offering and exciting demo/rental plan for both visitors and locals. It's called the Ultimate Demo Pass.

Here's the deal:

    * Choose your primary model.
    * When snow conditions change, you'll have access to different models.
    * Reserve your skis  48 hours in advance. They'll be  tuned, waxed and ready to play on the snow
    * One child receives a free rental for each day pass is used.
    * You will $50 in-store credit with the purchase of the Ultimate Demo Pass.

You must purchase the Ultimate Demo Pass before January 11th! I called the store. The January 5th listing was a typo
