Following up on the first article about the Stand Up for Skateparks benefit, Tony Hawk Foundation’s Media Relations came forward again and made available a large selection of action photos of the vert demo that took place during the event.

Guest skaters Bucky Lasek, Pierre Luc Gagnon, Andy Macdonald, Kevin Staab and Lincoln Ueda – and BMXers Simon Tabron and Coco Zurita – showed off their skills on the halfpipe with contest-winning runs.

But the highlight belonged to Tony himself who landed once again the legendary 900, while being cheered by the likes of Tom Green and Fred Durst on the ramp deck. Durst, member of band Limp Bizkit, also captured some footage of the demo using his mobile phone (see the video below; note that it appears sideways but it can be rotated).

Blink-182 came back to perform on stage once again, after having played the Tony Hawk Foundation’s first benefit in 2004. Other personalities at hand included Tommy Lee, Victoria Beckham, Chris “Big Black” Boykin, Travis Barker, Verne Troyer, Tom DeLonge, Perry Farrell, David Spade and Mark Hoppus.

A significant part of the event was the Pledge Drive for a skatepark project in the Watts district of Los Angeles. In conjunction with Wasserman Media Group, California Skateparks, and Los Angeles City Councilwoman Janice Hahn, the THF drive generated $43,500 in pledges for the project, which will be built in the shadow of the world-famous Watts Towers landmark.

Make sure to check the slideshow down below for more photo highlights of the occasion.
