Stanford Cardinal get a recommitment

Yesterday I reported on two players that gave verbal commitments to Stanford. Well, it turns out they had three players say yes.
Defensive end Eddie Plantaric from Fair Oaks, CA decided for second time to attend Stanford. The 6-5, 245-pound lineman had given Stanford a commitment in March. But a month later he decided to open up the process again.
Yesterday, Plantaric went with his initial feeling and recommitted to Stanford. Plantaric turned down offers from Fresno State and Nevada.
Plantaric was named a 2008 All-State Underclass selection and a first team all-league selection.
Plantaric joined TE Blake Barker and WR Jerrod West in declaring Stanford their destination in 2010 that wrapped up an extremely positive week for Cardinal recruiting.
