 Today, October 8th at 10:30 am, at George Ward Park will be the announcement of groundbreaking for Birmingham's very first off leash dog park.  Bark for a Park has been working for some time to raise money for fencing and other facilities to build an off leash dog park.  Just yesterday, Mayor Langford told Claudine Graf, Bark for a Park President, that Birmingham will foot the bill for the fencing to get this park going ASAP.  How wonderful for the local residents, two and four footed!
