In contributing to this site, I recognize that there is a certain amount of credibility required to address such a vibrant community.  Its a huge honor and privilege to recommend, review and highlight San Francisco clubs providing the space for dance, laughter and the discovery of love.

For that reason, I am careful not to become just another promoter of any late night event.  I am strict in my belief that reporting on a good time, is one hundred times safer than predicting a good time.  That being said however...

The Muna Group promises yet another gorgeous event this Thursday, August 6th inside Harlot's spectacular venue.  Harlot, located at 46 Minna Street is certainly off the beaten path, but is recognized by SF locals, and the NY times alike as, "One of the city's more fashionable places to be".

The producers of this upcoming event have enticed me with their genuine excitement and are as exuberant to bring the show to the city as they are are willing to be participants of the experience.  After years of late night conversations with ambitious party hosts, it is uncommon that I fall for frivolous banter about their past events, and their future dreams.  Stephan of the Muna Group however, is all business.  The sincerity in his action and communications simply have the air of success that can translate into an everlasting good time.

Without having to say much more, please enjoy the information below, provided by the Muna Group, and let me know your experience while there.   I'll be the guy having a great time, with a drink in hand and having some ridiculous conversation about nothing important.

RESTYLE proudly presents BRLSQ.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••THE CONCEPT••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A sultry and seductive experience embodying the dark and bawdy culture
of the classic underground Burlesque movement. At its best, burlesque
was a rich source of music and comedy that keeps audiences laughing
from 1840 through the 1960s. Some sources try to wrap burlesque in a
mantle of pseudo-intellectual respectability. Yes, it involved
transgressive comedy and songs, but the primary attraction of
burlesque was sex . . in the form of ribald humor and immodestly
dressed women.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••THE EXPERIENCE ••••••••••••••••••••••••••
--Fusing off the wall lace embellishments and sea of ivory and crimson
tinted feathers, Harlot's already dark and provocative interior will
be further morphed into a risque yet sophisticated nightlife haven.
The venue's ornate decor will be adorned by lush female bodies dancing
to the beat of the Burlesque artistic movements.

--An extravagant naughty and alluring midnight Burlesque performance
will take place upfront and personal on Harlot's main stage for all to
see and experience.

--6 FOOT RUBY RED FEATHER BOAS WILL BE GIVEN OUT TO SELECT GUESTS WHO
ATTEND IN THEIR MOST RISQUE BURLESQUE LIKE ATTIRE!!

•Decorations
20 Yards of white lace
300 Yards of Pink and white lace
15 Yards of red fabric
100 White Ostrich feathers
100 Red Ostrich feathers

---Halo (City Deep)---
Halo's career in dance music has always been about evolution. His
sonic education and progression throughout his professional life has
contributed to his metamorphosis both as a DJ and producer. Credited
with a diverse and remarkably long list of productions, remixes and
collaborations, a stable and successful independent record label, a
high profile vinyl outlet, prestigious residencies and a globe trotting
DJ schedule, the past few years have seen Halo take the industry by
storm.
