Given enough time, our majestic city just gets smaller and smaller. So when a new venue comes to town it's always a refreshing treat. "Sens " however is more like a thirst quenching oasis in a downtown wasteland. Located in prime Embarcadero real estate, this little bit of heaven doubles as a Restaurant by day, and dance club by night. Although I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying dinner there, I have indulged in an evening of sweet sensation  courtesy of the entire staff and patrons alike.

Any fan of my writing will quickly tell you that I am an ardent aficionado of everything Frisco, so when I found myself strolling the waterfront on the way to one of the sexiest places I have ever experienced, I was  yet again delighted  by the moment in time. I was open to everything.  Every sight and sound conspired to form the most unbelievable evening yet.
Standing at the front door, I personally witnessed the sort of kindness that every venue owner could only wish for. The gentlemen managing the list and entry truly lived up to the title and treated every gorgeous attendee with respect and decency. I wouldn't typically make such a big deal out of something  so basic, but it must be stated that this fundamental respect is not always a given.   The men, not knowing who I was dealt with me in an ego-free and professional manner. I was quickly on the way to finding a new late night home.
In conversation with Stephan Coste of the Muna Group, I found that this past Saturday's event was no mere accident but a meeting of the minds and a well thought out recipe for success. He, his partner Mughen Nakamura, Ali Poursafar of Ali Presents, and the ownership have taken it upon themselves to conjure up something long over do at the Embarcadero; A sexy, sophisticated, and mature party unlike any other in this part of town. With over 7 years of combined nightlife experience they certainly are qualified to host such a delectable event.
Be forewarned however, that being in the building can be a bit intimidating considering the amount of eye candy and fashionistas loosely roaming the place with drinks in hand. It would be enough to bring your "A" game but leave your timid friends behind. These folks are not playing around. Fun here is a serious business, and you better look good having it.   I'm told that the music differs depending on the party so may I suggest you contact the venue ahead of time to make sure what's happening.  These folks do it all without club cards or fliers so don't anticipate seeing it plastered all over the city. Those who go, are those in the know....and now that you do...well, we'll see you there.
