Here’s a fantastic idea to get seniors and the elderly to have some fun, while adding a bit of exercise to their day. Organize an event at your church, senior center, local YMCA/YWCA or just in your own home as a family get together activity. The Wii video game console has some great games such as bowling, tennis and others that are easy, and actually get the players physically moving, while having a lot of fun! Check some local organizations to see if they are already offering Wii Fit & Fun events.

This can also be a great way to bring the whole family together from the youngest to the oldest to bridge those generational gaps that go on due to lack of interaction between very young and the elderly. Even if everyone doesn't want to play, just being involved in watching will bring the family together for some laughter and closeness.
