Police are looking for the gunman who tied up and pistol-whipped an employee at a popular Wrigleyville bar.

The employee was attacked while closing up at 2:30 a.m. at the Cubby Bear on 1059 West Addison, according to Chicago Police News Affair Officer Laura Kubiak.

He was later treated at the hospital and then released.

He tells police the gunman tied him up, hit him on the head with a gun, stole his wallet and ransacked the office area of the bar.

It is not clear if the robber got away with any of the bar proceeds.

Meanwhile, the murder of a bar owner in the Lincoln Square community remains unsolved. Robert Gonzales, 69, was found beaten in the alley behind O'Lanagan's bar last month.
