Shortly after the Obama administration made the decision to compromise America's national security by releasing top secret CIA memos that revealed details about the government's "enhanced interrogation techniques," which included the use of waterboarding, Nancy Pelosi claimed she was never told that it would be used.

My experience is that they did not tell us they were using that. Flat out. And any -- any contention to the contrary is simply not true.

She went on to say that as a member of intelligence, an oxymoron if ever there was one, she was only given legal opinions from the Justice Department concerning the possible use of such techniques. However, as has become the norm for the Representative from San Francisco, CA., she has been caught in a lie that proves her outrage on the subject is phony, and apparently nothing more than political posturing.

In a report released today to the Senate Intelligence Committee and obtained by ABC News, a report that confirms a Washington Post story published in 2007, it has been revealed that Nancy Pelosi was fully aware of every interrogation technique being used after 9/11. She learned of these things during a briefing on September 4, 2002.

The meeting was described as a "Briefing on EITs (enhanced interrogation techniques) including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities, and a description of particular EITs that had been employed." Notice the wording? It didn't say may be employed. They had already been used at the time of the meeting.

So, if she had a problem with this, why didn't she say something before the Obama Administration released the details of the use of waterboarding? Could it be that her phony outrage is really an attempt to avoid any accountability on the subject? Could she be positioning herself for the possibility of charges from Eric Holder's Justice Department?

Any way you look at it, her outrage is phony, not to mention an outright lie.
