Here’s a story you couldn’t make up if you tried.
In London, a 4-year-old boy flushed his small Cocker Spaniel puppy down the toilet in an attempt to give the dog a bath.
And the puppy lived to yap about it.
The boy, Daniel Blair, told the Daily Mirror his pup got muddy after playing outside, so he decided to wash him off -- in the toilet. After he flushed the handle, the dog zipped through his home’s plumbing system.
His quick exit didn't last too long.
Daniel’s mother, Alison Blair, 40, reported hearing the puppy’s muffled cries echoing from a drain. She called the fire department, which in turn enlisted the help of plumbing firm that used a special camera to located the puppy. He was found about 20 yards from the home.
The puppy was then nudged to a position where the firefighters could grab him, according to reports on Monday. He was a little scared and waterlogged, but received a clean bill of health. The puppy was named Dyno in honor of the plumbing firm that rescued him, Dyno-Rod.
At least they didn’t call him “Draino.”
