Wouldn't it be nice to eliminate the piles of pet hair decorating the floors, furniture and ceilings in your home?
My Jack Russell Terrier enjoys depositing his white hair over every inch of black that I own. My black clothing, my black couch, and even the small areas of black fabric on my tapestry rugs all receive a good sprinkling of white hair.
I diligently work to clean it all up. Ultimately, the hair wins this battle. It's just part of owning a dog that sheds.
Many dogs hate vacuum cleaners and I think I've figured out why. They know that some of them are specifically designed to eliminate their artwork (a.k.a. hair).
The Dallas Morning News recently reviewed and rated several vacuums that claim to do just that.
The newspaper gave a rating of five out of five bones to the Miele S516 Cat & Dog vacuum, which carries a $799 price tag.
I think I'll just stick with my Wal-Mart Bissell and lint rollers.
But for the record, I've changed my couch color from black to beige.
As I said, the pet hair always wins.
