In 2007, BoDog was forced to adopt the website BodogLive.com upon the filing of a patent infringement lawsuit by 1st Technology Group, LLC.  The BoDog.com website became inactive, as all activity for thee poker, gaming, and sportsbook site was moved to www.bodoglife.com.

Earlier this week, Bodog, the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (responsible for licensing and regulation) and 1st Technology reached a settlement which returned the Bodog brand to MMGG. On Tuesday, April 21, www.bodog.com was again active with information about BoDog's services.

All related services provided by BoDog will be transitioning back to the original Bodog.com site over the next few weeks. The decision may clear up Bodog's and MMGG's plans to market and license the brand further in anticipation of the 2009 World Series of Poker and other international events.

"This resolution will provide certainty and will also allow us to continue to enhance our technology base for online gaming in order to provide our users with unfettered access to the best technology," said Mr. Alwyn Morris, Chief Executive for the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group. 1st Technology's Dr. Scott Lewis commented on the agreement, stating, "We are pleased to have finally resolved this dispute, and applaud Mr. Morris for his proactive and constructive approach."

Specific terms of the settlement, including financial items, were not released as part of the deal.
