Help homeless pets
Help homeless pets by attending the outdoor flea market.

Homeless pets are a problem in most communities. Every year, hundreds of thousands of these animals are euthanized because of a lack of funding to care for them. Euthanizing these animals is a tragedy of epic proportions.

Help homeless animals by attending an outdoor flea market

West Warwick Angels Caring for Animals is hosting an outdoor flea market to support homeless pets in West Warwick.

Proceeds from the flea market are to go to the West Warwick Angels, who in turn will use the money to aid the homeless animals at the West Warwick Shelter.

Rent a space at the flea market and help homeless dogs and cats

Space at the flea market can be rented for as little as $20. Proceeds for the rentals will be donated to the West Warwick Angels to use in their crusade to help the homeless pets at the shelter.

Come and see the homeless dogs and cats available for adoption

The dogs available for adoption from the shelter will be showcased at 11:30AM on the day of the flea market. However, if you cannot attend the scheduled showcase, shelter personnel invite you to stop by the shelter to see the dogs there. You may also view the cats available for adoption. Shelter hours are 9AM to 3:30PM.

Obtain AKC Good Citizen Certification for your dog and help homeless pets at the same time

Dynamic Dog Training Services, LLC will be conducting testing for the AKC Good Citizen Certification during the course of the flea market. Cost is $15 per dog and the benefits will be donated to the West Warwick Angels.

Outdoor flea market aids homeless pets in West Warwick

The outdoor flea market is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st from 10AM to 2PM. In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled for June 7th.

The flea market is to be held near the West Warwick Animal Shelter, which is located in River Point Park, on Hay Street in West Warwick. The showcase of dogs available for adoption will take place next door to the shelter at the New England Union Co. at 11:30AM.

Exihibitors are reminded to provide their own tables and equipment and to bring an unbrella or tent to protect from the sun. Set-up for the event is between 8:30AM and 9:30AM and all merchandise must be removed from the premises at the end of the flea market.

So, come on out and "shop til you drop" at the flea market and help support the West Warwick Angels and all of the homeless pets in West Warwick. For more information about the flea market, or to make arrangements for a rental space, please call the West Warwick Angels at (401)-822-9250.
