Vick to help HSUS in keeping youths out of dogfighting
According to Pacelle, the details of the arrangement between Vick and the Humane Society have not been finalized yet, but the parties expect to reach a final agreement over the next few days. Pacelle says that Vick's representatives approached the Humane Society and suggested an alliance between the two parties. Vick has apparently met twice with Pacelle and they have spoken about ways that Vick could aid the HSUS in influencing young people and discouraging them from becoming involved in dogfighting. The two parties have also allegedly discussed whether Vick could help apprehend parties currently involved in dogfighting operations.
Current HSUS plans call for Vick to be involved with programs which would prevent young men and women from becoming involved with dogfighting. Vick will also participate in programs whose goal is to help those youths already involved in dogfighting operations.
