Bring your littlest ones in a baby wrap... cozy comfort..

As promised, here is the list of free events taking place during Burlington Kids’ Days, July 6-7th.  Do something fun with your kiddos!


Monday July 6

10AM-Noon, 1-3PM  Champlain Valley Stage in City Hall Park:  All day children’s festival, featuring storytellers, comedy and a clown.  (You can check out this article for cheap meal ideas when you’re out and about in downtown Burlington).

8:30PM City Hall Park Cinema Champlain Series: Feature presentation is Playtime, by Jacque’s Tati; a silent comedy depicting futuristic France.  The Celebrate Champlain! brochure says it is fun for all ages. 

July 6 & 7

3:30PM and 5:30PM Waterfront Park hosts New England Youth Theater: Melodrama.  (2 shows-this appears to be geared towards older children, not necessarily toddlers).

5PM Waterfront Park hosts Very Merry Theater, performing a Vermont original play, “Walking Into the Wild,” about three children’s journey from Connecticut to Cornwall, VT.  (Described as heartwarming.)

Tuesday July 7th

10AM-1PM City Hall Park-Champlain Valley Stage: Various children’s concerts.

2:30-7PM Waterfront Stage hosts Rising Teen Stars Keeghan Nolan, ChloeBrisson and Erin Bentlage.  Also featuring Twist of the Wrist.

6PM Flynn Space sidewalk Rhythm Riderz free styling dance battle-bring out your tiny dancers for this one.

8:30PM City Hall Park Cinema Champlain Series:  Jean Cocteau’s surrealist French film Beauty and the Beast, based on the well known fairy tale.   

Thus concludeth the list of free events for Kids’ Days.  Please feel free to return for more free, family friendly Champlain Festival events Tuesday night.
