And the winners are....

This is a list of my top 5 grocery budget friendly stores compiled after almost 5 years experience shopping in the Burlington area.  The stores are ranked based on price, variety, and discount opportunities (membership cards and/or gas programs).  If it were ranked based on customer service, the number 1 and 2 spots would likely be reversed(I say this only to emphasize the excellent service in store 2, rather than negate any in my top choice).

Without further ado, but with much excitement on my part, the top 5 grocery budget friendly stores in the Burlington area:

1.  Williston Liquidation Center (the wholesale artist formerly known as Mr. G's) —1B  Munson Way Williston, VT

2.  Cheese Traders—1186 Williston Rd South Burlington, VT

3.  Price Chopper—Either the Williston Road or the Shelburne Road stores

4.  Hannafords—whichever location—this is a matter of personal preference

5.  City Market (Onion River Coop)—82  S Winooski Avenue Burlington, VT

For more information on the order and choosing of the top 5 grocery budget friendly stores in the Burlington area, check back often in the next two weeks.  Each placing store will have a feature article including recipes and top deals of the week.
