Take your pick.. just so much to do and so little time before Halloween to get to all these places. Halloween does not have to be about horror and terrible gross things – it can be a time for family fun and good clean fun for those who are still dating, holding hands, and looking toward a bright future together. There are fun things for couples 50+ who are still holding hands and looking for a bright future together. It is not just for the children in other words. There is plenty of fun to go around. This is a neat site where you can find family fun stuff to do throughout the rest of the year.
Check out this weekend’s fall and Halloween fun. For details check out each event on this site for free/cost – activities – and directions. With expected rain in metro Atlanta, better check for cancellations. The inside activities may become more attractive. If your kids must, check out safety rules for Trick-or-Treat door to door at the end of this article.

Halloween safety rules for trick or treating
Don’t – if you can get by with it – don’t let the kids go from house to house – this seems to be fading out as so many public events are taking place, so much danger, and little to do except beg for candy – why not go where you can have safe fun, lots of candy, and something to do.
But if your kids must go remember:
It they are still young enough to Trick-or-Treat – then YOU or a responsible adult should go with them. Several kids together does not insure safety. The following rules for you and your children can better insure a safe evening.
Don’t wear mask that interferes with vision.
Don’t wear long skirts that can make you fall.
Don’t run.
Don’t eat candy along the way – choking hazard
Check all candy at home making sure it is individually wrapped – if not – throw out.
Throw out all homemade stuff unless you know for absolute sure who made it and it is safe
Don’t go inside the homes of anyone
Be prepared - some adults think it is funny to scare little kids
Do take a flash light
Do put reflector tape on costumes to prevent getting hit by a car
Don’t over eat the candy at one time – after allowing a certain amount – put it in a tightly closed container and use it from time to time as a treat or as a reward. And YOU stay out of it – this is the kid’s candy and you need to lose a few pounds.
